In return, they help cover the cost when you visit the doctor, fill a prescription, go to the hospital, or get other types of care. Think of it like a membership—you pay to be a part of it, and when you need help, the insurance company steps in to share the cost.
In-network—these are providers your insurance has agreements with to keep your costs lower.
Out-of-network care and out of pocket cost will vary depending on your insurance plan and benefit level.
